Meet the Founder
João founded Eboard Madeira with a simple belief: the best way to experience Madeira's breathtaking coastline isn't from a tour bus window—it's gliding through it on an electric longboard, wind in your hair, sun on your face.
After years of exploring the island's hidden gems on his own board, João knew he had to share this unique perspective with visitors. In early 2025, armed with passion, premium equipment, and deep local knowledge, Eboard Madeira was born.
Since then, riders from around the world have experienced Madeira's legendary slopes and coastal trails — earning Eboard Madeira a 5.0 rating from 14 verified reviews. Every guide is a local rider trained in first aid and route safety, every session is private with a maximum of 3 riders, and every tour plants a tree.
